Why I Use Dryer Sheets

I’m a DIY kind of person.  If I can make something myself than I usually will.  Ok, I’m also cheap.  If I can make something cheaper than buying it, you can bet I’m going to do it.  However, I had to go back to buying dryer sheets.  Sigh.  Here’s why.

Yes, my lovely fur-babies.  I use vinegar in the rinse cycle of the washing machine, but it doesn’t get all of their fur off of things.  I’ve used heavily diluted fabric softener drenched sponges thrown into the dryer.  Again, it didn’t get all the fur off.  I was getting a little tired of using the sticky rollers to get the dog and cat fur off our clothes.

So, I went back to buying dryer sheets.  I’m still a DIY-er.  I’m still cheap.  But I’m also realistic.  Sometimes it just makes more sense to spend the money for something that works.

Now, if someone has a DIY for making my own dryer sheets that actually work?  I’m all ears.
