Homemaking Binder Gift Idea

So now that I have my own homemaking binder, I decided to share the wealth.

The daughter of a friend of mine is getting married soon and will become insta-mom to two young boys.  Whay a joy, and what a challenge!  And I thought she could definately use a homemaking binder to help her get a handle on new married life and new step-mom life as well.

So, for her wedding shower I am making up a homemaking binder for her from the printables from A New Bee Homeschooler, minus the extra pages I made for myself.  I’m also giving her a thumb drive with the files on it so she can print off more pages as she needs them.

Wouldn’t this be a great idea for any soon-to-be- married young lady?  Wouldn’t this be a great idea also for a young man or woman leaving home for their own first apartment?  Sooo helpful on so many levels.  I’m lovin’ it!

How sweet and generous of you! I wish someone would put together a binder for me–I’m still fumbling around trying to get mine done. Unfortunately, there are so many wonderful ways to do them, I get overwhelmed trying to figure out which to use.

It sure can get confusing. I must have looked at dozens of websites and blogs before I decided on the one I chose. Hang in there! You’ll find one (or pieces of several) that fit you and your family. Thanks for stopping by!

I so agree that this would make a great gift idea for a bride, can’t believe I never thought of it! 🙂

I’m not sure I would have thought of it either if I hadn’t made one for myself. Thanks for stopping by!
